1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy describes how CityWorth Properties, LLC (“CityWorth,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit our website, request a quote, sign up for an account, or use any of our homebuying or homeselling services. CityWorth Properties, LLC is a licensed real estate brokerage and is affiliated with CityWorth Mortgage, LLC through common ownership.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Contact information (name, email address, phone number, employer)
• Financial information needed for pre-qualification (income, employment, assets, debts, credit score range)
• Identity documents you choose to upload (pay stubs, W-2s, bank statements, ID)
• Information about your homebuying preferences and goals
• Communications between you and our team

We also collect limited information automatically when you use our site, such as IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and referring URL. We use standard cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and measure how our site is performing.

Advertising identifiers. When you arrive from a paid advertisement (for example, a LinkedIn or Google ad), we may collect and store the ad’s tracking identifiers — such as utm_source, utm_campaign, li_fat_id (LinkedIn), gclid (Google), and fbclid (Meta) — along with a short-lived anonymous session identifier stored in your browser. This helps us understand which ads actually work and stop wasting money on the ones that don’t. You can opt out at any time using the cookie banner or the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our real estate, mortgage, and homebuying-platform services
• Generate pre-qualification estimates and route you to the right lending or agent team
• Communicate with you about your account, your milestones, and your homebuying journey
• Send service updates, drip campaigns, trivia, rewards notifications, and similar messages
• Measure and improve the performance of our advertising (e.g., understanding which LinkedIn campaign brought you to us)
• Detect fraud, enforce our Terms, and meet our legal obligations

4. How We Share Information

We share information only when needed to deliver our services or where required by law:

• With your employer-benefit company if you signed up through a corporate program — limited to confirmation that you enrolled and high-level engagement metrics. We never share your individual financial details with your employer.
• With affiliated CityWorth entities (including CityWorth Mortgage, LLC) so the same team can support you across both real-estate and mortgage services. You are never required to use any affiliated company.
• With trusted service providers who help us operate the platform. Today those include our CRM (FollowUpBoss), email delivery (SendGrid), SMS delivery (SimpleTexting), and document analysis (OpenAI GPT-4 Vision). These vendors are contractually bound to protect your information.
• With advertising platforms such as LinkedIn, Google, and Meta — but only to measure the results of our own ads. When you complete a signup after clicking one of our ads, we send the ad platform an encrypted (hashed) version of your email and the ad’s click ID so they can credit their campaign. We never send them your real email, financial information, or documents. You can opt out at any time via the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link.
• With law enforcement or regulators where required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of CityWorth, our customers, or the public.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Under California’s privacy law, the ad-platform sharing described above is treated as “sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising” and you have the right to opt out of it.

5. Your Choices & Rights

• You may opt out of marketing emails at any time using the “unsubscribe” link in our messages.
• You may opt out of SMS messages by replying STOP to any message we send you.
• You may opt out of cross-context advertising tracking (LinkedIn, Google, Meta pixels) via our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page or by clicking “Opt out” on our cookie banner.
• You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by emailing benefits@cityworth.com. Some records (e.g., transaction records) may be retained where required by law.
• Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws (e.g., CCPA/CPRA in California, VCDPA in Virginia, CPA in Colorado, CTDPA in Connecticut, UCPA in Utah). We honor those rights for residents of any US state that has enacted them.
• Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request for cross-context behavioral advertising, no additional confirmation required.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and audit logging on sensitive admin actions. No system is perfectly secure, however, and you should use a strong, unique password for your account.

7. Children

Our services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated by email or by a notice on the site.
